About Me
My name is Morgan Corona (she/her/ella). I’m a Portland based practitioner of Maya Abdominal Massage, Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT #27920), postpartum doula, and folk herbalist. I specialize in abdominal massage, prenatal, and postpartum massage. I offer care that is holistic, trauma informed, rooted in ceremony, and centers my clients’ connection to their bodies. It is my utmost honor to serve my clients in this work.
My training and work as a doula (both for birth and postpartum) frame the way I think about advocacy, holding space, and communicating with the mindbody during times of transformation.
I have deepened my learning of postpartum care through extensive training and practice in Maya Abdominal Massage, more commonly referred to in Central America as “sobada de matriz” or womb massage. I am honored to have been initiated into sharing this work with my loved ones and clients by Doña Dominga Martín, Maria Eugenia Gobbato, and my abuelas.
Originally from California, I am also a poet and visual artist. When I’m not massaging my clients or supporting postpartum families, I’m reading, writing making, gardening, gathering plants, dancing or cooking for my loved ones.
Yo hablo español.
